Privacy Policy
Judgr is a scoring and results app for gym fitness competitions. It is run for competition organizers and their participants. This page explains what information Judgr collects, why, and who can see it. Questions or requests: contact@compjudgr.com.
What we collect
- Sign-in information. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, your name and your profile photo. We never see your Google password. We ask Google only for basic sign-in information (email and profile).
- Competition information. Names of athletes, judges and reviewers, team and division assignments, heat schedules and lane assignments, scores and results, and the scorecard photos that judges upload. Scorecards may include handwriting such as names and signatures.
- Sign-in history and activity. When you sign in, we record the time and your IP address. We also keep a log of actions taken in the app (for example, that a result was applied or a sheet was printed), including which account did it, when, and the IP address. It records the type of action and which record it affected, not the content you typed.
- Server logs. Our servers log each request, including the IP address, browser type, the page requested and the response. These logs are rotated automatically and are kept only for a limited time.
- Anonymous usage statistics. We use a self-hosted analytics tool (Umami) that counts visits and which sections of the app are used, along with browser, device type, screen size, language and approximate country. It uses no cookies, does not store IP addresses, does not track you across other sites, and honors your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting.
- Alert subscriptions (optional). If you turn on phone alerts, we store the address your browser or phone gives us for sending you alerts, along with its encryption keys and the type of browser. It is used only to send you Judgr alerts, and it is deleted when you turn alerts off.
- Cookies. Judgr sets only essential cookies: one keeps you signed in, and a short-lived one protects the Google sign-in step. Judgr uses no advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
To run the competition: let organizers, judges and reviewers enter and review scores; produce standings and leaderboards; control who has access; keep the service secure and investigate problems; and understand how the app is used so we can improve it. Scorecard photos are read by software running on our own server. They are not sent to outside AI or text-recognition services, and every score is reviewed by a person before it counts.
Who can see it
- People with an approved account can see the competition’s roster, schedule and results. Uploading, reviewing and editing is limited to organizers, judges and reviewers, according to their role.
- Organizers and administrators can also see who has signed in and when, and the activity log.
- We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Service providers
Judgr runs on a server hosted by Vultr in the United States. Google provides sign-in. Cloudflare provides the domain name and forwards email sent to the address above. Server backups are held by our hosting provider. These providers handle information only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
Competition data is kept for as long as the organizers need it. Server logs rotate automatically. Sign-in history and the activity log are kept until they are removed. Backups contain older copies for a limited time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing contact@compjudgr.com. You can sign out at any time, and you can turn on “Do Not Track” in your browser to opt out of usage statistics.
Children
Judgr is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
